What is a gaylord box?+
A gaylord box is a large corrugated container designed to sit on a pallet for forklift handling. They are also known as bulk bins, pallet boxes, or octabins. They are commonly used for storing and shipping large quantities of goods.
What are the different pallet grades?+
Grade A pallets are like-new with minimal wear. Grade B pallets are in good condition with light wear and possibly minor repairs. Grade C pallets are functional but may have visible repairs and wear - ideal for one-way shipping or non-critical use.
What is an IBC tote?+
IBC stands for Intermediate Bulk Container. These are reusable containers used for storing and transporting liquids and granular materials. They typically hold 275-330 gallons and feature a steel cage around a plastic inner bottle.
Do you sell new products?+
Yes, while we specialize in used and reconditioned packaging, we also offer new gaylord boxes, pallets, and IBC totes for customers who require them.

What is your minimum order quantity?+
We have no strict minimum order. However, delivery charges may apply for smaller orders. Contact us for details based on your location and quantity needs.
Do you offer volume discounts?+

Can I see products before buying?+
Absolutely! You are welcome to visit our facility to inspect products before purchasing. We can also send photos of specific inventory upon request.

What materials do you buy?+
We buy used gaylord boxes, pallets of all types and conditions, and IBC totes. We accept materials in any quantity, from a single pallet load to multiple truckloads.
How is pricing determined?+
Pricing depends on the type, condition, quantity, and current market conditions. We offer fair market rates and can provide quotes quickly.
Do you offer pickup?+
Yes! We offer free pickup for qualifying loads within our service area. Contact us with your location and quantity for details.
How quickly will I be paid?+
We typically process payment within 24-48 hours of pickup or drop-off, depending on the payment method chosen.

Services

What types of repairs do you offer?+
We offer comprehensive pallet repair including board replacement, stringer repair, and re-nailing. For IBC totes, we provide valve replacement, gasket replacement, cage repair, and cleaning/sanitizing.
Do you offer heat treatment for pallets?+
Yes, we offer ISPM 15 compliant heat treatment for pallets being used in international shipping. This certification is required for wood packaging materials in international trade.
How does your recycling program work?+
We accept end-of-life packaging materials and process them responsibly. Wood is chipped for mulch or fuel, cardboard is baled for paper recycling, and plastic/metal are sent to appropriate recyclers.
What is your service area?+
We primarily serve Illinois, including the Chicago metro area, Northern, Central, and Southern Illinois. We also serve Northwest Indiana, Southeast Wisconsin, and Eastern Iowa.
